Dog snoods are great not only for keeping your dog’s ears and neck warm in cold weather, they can be used to prevent long haired ears from getting dirty during feeding time.
This pattern was designed for small and medium dogs using Knifty Knitter round looms with 31, and 36 pegs respectively, but you can adjust the size by using different peg count looms, or using a loom with a different gauge.

“Final Measurements”:
Small: 8-1/2” circumference at head, 10” circumference at base of neck, 9” upper length, 7-1/2” lower length. It fits small dogs like mini Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, mini Poodles.
Medium: 11” circumference at head, 13” circumference at base of neck, 11” upper length, 9-1/2” lower length. It fits medium dogs like Standard Dachshunds, Cocker Spaniels.

31 pegs 5/8” gauge Knifty Knitter Round loom for Small size
36 pegs 3/4” gauge Knifty Knitter Round Loom for Medium Size
Worsted Weight yarn:
26 gr of Red Heart Super Saver Solids in color Buff was used for the Small size, and 45 gr of Caron One Pound in color Sky Blue was used for the Medium Size Snood.
