I received a Nook eReader for my birthday, and I love it! After getting it, I wanted to have a case to put it in to protect the screen from scratches, but they were so expensive and not all that attractive. That’s when I realized that the AKB Sock Loom had a wide enough circumference to knit a cozy for my reader. Now, I can choose whatever colors I want, and make it at a fraction of the cost. This is a great pattern for men or women, as you can make the cozy as wild or understated as you like, and uses less than one 50 gram skein of sock yarn.

Materials

Knitting Loom: AKB Sock Loom

Yarn: 120 yards of fingering (sock) weight yarn. Knit Picks Felici (Martinique) was used in sample.

Notions: Tapestry Needle, Knitting tool

Gauge: 7 stitches and 10 rows to 1 inch in FS
