This pattern is for loom knit newborn pants. The pants would be ideal to use as a photo prop during newborn photo shoots.

You’ll need a loom with a gauge of 3/8” and 56 pegs in the round (examples: All-n-One loom, Knitting Board Adjustable Hat Loom with pegs in every hole, and the Martha Stewart loom with blue pegs in every hole). You will also need 95 yards of worsted weight yarn.

Techniques used are as follows: chain cast on, purl stitch, e-wrap stitch, working a flat panel, working in the round, super stretchy bind off, and seaming with a whipstitch. There’s a photo tutorial included for the super stretchy bind off and basic whipstitch instructions with some pictures (not a full photo tutorial).
