Loop Cowl, Collar & Boa
I’ve always loved this loop stitch, and as all types of fur collars and accessories are such a big fashion story this winter, I thought it would be fun to make my own ‘fake’ fur with loop stitch. I also wanted to play around with colour, and so by using 3 ends of yarn together, I was able to give a subtle colour-change effect by swapping one end of yarn.
The yarn I used was Tall Yarns AlpacaBoo - an 80/20% mix of alpaca and bamboo at 600m per 100g. There are some lovely colours available(coming soon to their website) and the yarn has a lovely softness and drape. However the pattern will work in any fine yarn.
The pattern contains instructions for the collar, cowl and a long scarf (boa). Cowl 100g, collar 145g and boa 200g
