This fun to knit cushion was the project for a workshop earlier this year. It’s a good introduction to 3D knitting and partial knitting. It is an easy technique to master and the loops formed can be turned inside out for a different look, the photographs show the two ways.

Please note that Gilt 160 has unfortunately been discontinued by Rowan. if you cannot buy Gilt then please use Cumin 193, which is a new colour being launched in July.

The finished size is 48cm x 48cm to fit a 50cm x 50cm cushion pad.
