Loopy Cloche and Neckwarmer
I’m extremely fond of that which is not ‘ordinary’. And, I’m old enough to remember those swimming caps from the 60s. You know the ones I mean - those rubber caps with rows and rows (and, rows) of nylon ruffles, or sequins and flower petals, or rubber fringes - they were the height of fashion in that decade. I wasn’t ‘lucky’ enough to have one of these very fashionable accessories - my swim cap was just a plain, old, pink, rubber, skin tight cap with that dreaded chin strap - but, it served the purpose admirably!
So, is this a pattern for a swim cap? No - it’s just a kooky, warm winter cloche with a neckwarmer to match that’s just as kooky, and just as warm! So, grab your needles and yarn, and have fun knitting!
This will fit an average adult - approximately 200 yds. of yarn is needed for the hat, and approximately 150 yds. for the neckwarmer.
