What you need to know about the Loopy Cowl – Free Crochet Pattern
Skil level: easy to intermediate (maker needs to know how to crochet the loop stitch)
Size: one size fits most – 11.5 inches long (about 29 cm) by 5 inches tall (about 12 cm)
Gauge: ( In loop stitch) 3 stitches by 4 rows = 1 inch
Stitches used and their abbreviations:
Chain = ch
Single crochet – sc
Loop stitch = lp st
Slip stitch = sl st
(The links above are video tutorials that show how to make each stitch)
Yarn: Worsted weight yarn, about 220 to 250 yards ( 201 to 228 meters)
Other Materials:
Crochet hook size I (5.5 mm)
Large eyed sewing needle (to weave in ends)
