This pattern is really similar to the Yellow Cake with Chocolate Frosting, except we use loop stitch to create a fun texture for the exterior frosting.

Ingredients

– H/8 5.0mm crochet hook or whatever is needed to obtain the correct gauge
– Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in White – 1 ball (I used exactly 1 ball. You might want a little bit extra on hand just in case)
– Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in Scarlet – 1 ball
– Cascade 220 in Chartreuse #7814 –
– scissors
– tapestry needle
– handful of straight pins
