These little pouches are knitted with short lengths of leftover yarn, knotted together to make a multi-coloured ball. They are lined with fabric to hide the knots and the pattern includes instructions for three different sizes of pouch.

They are closed at the top with buttons which can be fastened in three different ways for different looks.

The pattern could be easily adapted for other weights of yarn and other sizes; full details on achieving the length of stripes you want are given.
