Loose Loop Wave Dress
If you have always wanted to learn how to knit a dress, get your needles out and try this seamless Loose Loop Wave Dress! This dress is knitted from the top down, with easy lace skirt in a wave pattern. Featuring a top down raglan construction there is no seaming at all, and you can knit the dress and sleeves as long as you please.
The Loose Loop Wave Dress features a classic wave pattern. It’s an easy to wear pull-on with a loose design. The half circle skirt sits a little below the knee.
The pattern throughout is knitted using “space dyed” yarn, which self-stripes, avoiding yarn changing. It’s fun to knit with as it comes to life in a dazzle of bright colours.
The Loos Loop Wave Dress is hand knitted from Rico Design Superba Las Vegas 4 ply superwash fine, soft and sparkly wool blend: a colour mix of orange, brown, yellow, green and blue shades. The knitting pattern is easy to follow, and all the instructions and the charts are clearly laid out.
For this top down, seamless dress, you begin with the neck. As this dress is designed with a turtleneck neckline, it is very easy to start. The big advantage of working top down is that you can adjust the length of the sleeves and dress length to suit your needs. What about making one of each length? Mini, midi and maxi – very retro!
