This headband pattern was created by popular request to go along with the Loppet Beanie and Loppet Bobble Cowl patterns. When your ears are cold but you’re just not ready for a hat, try a headband instead! Perfect for people who like to wear their hair up. The unique texture of this pattern is created by holding a fingering weight slub yarn together with super bulky yarn. You’ll find a lot of slub yarn options by searching #slubyarn on Instagram or “slub yarn” on Etsy. If you can’t find slub yarn, holding a colorful fingering weight yarn or mohair will achieve a similar result. You can simply leave out the slub yarn for a simple ribbed headband.

I used Wool and the Gang Crazy Sexy Wool for this pattern, but any super bulky yarn will work well.
