Lorax Baby Hat
I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees!! This year was my daughter’s first ever halloween, and I decided to dress her as “The Lorax” from the wonderful Dr. Seuss book of the same name. I also threw together a “once-ler” costume for her dad to wear. They looked so adorable! The hat was easy to construct, since it was very similar in construction to the Blue Bird Hat I made for her a few months ago. The trickiest part was the mustache, but if you don’t want to fool around with all that grafting and stuffing, you could probably just make a bunch of bobbins and attach them up front, or cut a mustache out of felt. I’m posting the pattern is case anyone else wants to turn their little one into a Lorax this halloween. Happy Knitting!
sizing-This fits my baby at almost 9 months old with room to grow. The bluebird hat of the same size fit her as a 4 month old, so I’m listing the size as fitting babies age 4-10 months.
