This pattern comes in size L only, for chest circumference of 105-110 cm 41.4 to 43.3 in.
Center stage for fall’s beautiful colors - all other details discreetly stay in the background: narrow striped cuffs and facings, a shallow V-neck, leaving lots of room for the stripe pattern with facings in matching stripes, simple and elegant buttons as well as a small pocket for a pocket watch. Especialy nice when paired with corduroy trousers and a tweed jacket! the green one will look nice with blue jeans or slacks.

eine verbeugung vor den schönen farben des herbstes, alle anderen details halten sich dezent im hintergrund: schmale, streifenbreite bündchen und blenden, der kurze v-ausschnitt läßt viel platz für das streifenmuster, auch die blenden haben die gleichen farbstreifen, schlichte, edle knöpfe und ein kleines täschchen für die taschenuhr. besonders schön zu cordhosen und tweedsakkos! das grüne modell passt gut zu blue jeans und chinos.

this men’s vest is worked from the bottom-up, the body in one piece in back- and forth rows up to the armholes (leaving space for the pocket), followed by the left front, right front with buttonholes and at last the back. All facings are worked as you go, the short row shoulders are joined so there won’t be any seaming, and it also makes for a great wearing comfort.
at the end of the pattern, you can find schematics that will help the experianced knitter find their way through the pattern without too woordy instructions.

diese herrenweste wird von unten nach oben gearbeitet. der körper wird in hin- und herreihen in einem stück (platz lassen für das täschchen) bis zu den armausschnitten gestrickt, dann das linke vorderteil, dann das rechte vorderteil mit den knopflöchern und als letztes das rückenteil. alle blenden werden gleich mitgestrickt und auf den schultern mit verkürzten reihen alle teile zusammengestrickt, es braucht nichts genäht zu weden. das ist beim tragen sehr komfortabel. am ende findest du zeichnungen, mit denen erfahrene strickerInnen ohne viel erklärungen zurechtkommen sollten.
