Fans of G. R. R. Martin’s Game of Thrones series will recognize the inspiration for these socks--Lord Varys , the political mastermind of Westeros--but you don’t have to like fantasy novels to enjoy knitting these socks. They are handsome, reasonably unisex, and fit snugly.

Unfortunately, the pattern is only written for Medium and Large. A smaller size could be achieved by knitting the medium at a tighter gauge.
