Lorelay ist ein sommerliches kurzes ärmelloses Top, das an den Schultern mit einem zopfähnlichen Lochmuster verziert ist. Es wird in einem Stück quer gestrickt. Das Zusammennähen kann man sich ersparen, indem man einen provisorischen Anschlag nutzt und beide Seiten am Ende beim Abketten zusammenstrickt. Noch Fäden vernähen, fertig.
Länge: ca. 57 cm
Tipp: Für mehr Länge können zusätzliche Maschen gestrickt werden. Für 5 cm mehr Länge sollte man etwa 100m zusätzliches Garn einplanen.

Benötigt werden:

• Ca. 900 (1000, 1100) m eines 4-fädigen Farbverlaufgarns, z.B. 100% Mako-Baumwolle von Wolle von Drachenstein, Farbe “Olivenhain” (LL ca. 425 m / 100g).
• Zwei Rundstricknadeln 80cm in Nadelstärke 3,5 oder
• eine lange Rundstricknadel der Nadelstärke 3,5.
• Fünf Maschenmarkierer

Die Anleitung enthält schriftliche Beschreibungen Reihe für Reihe, eine Strickschrift des Musters (ohne zusätzliche schriftliche Beschreibung Masche für Masche) und eine Schemazeichnung des Pullovers.

Lorelay is a sleeveless top with a cablelike lace pattern at shoulders and neckline. It is worked in one peace sideways. Version 1 is seamless – the project starts with a provisional cast on and is finished with the three-needle-bind-off.
If you prefer you can work according to version 2 instead with a usual cast on. Join the edges afterwards.
Length: approx. 22.4‘‘ (57 cm)
Tip: For more length just add some further sts. Any 2‘‘ (5 cm) more length need approx. 110 yards (100m) more yarn.

You need:

• Approx. 1000 (1100, 1200) yards - 900 (1000, 1100) m of a gradient yarn of fingering weight, e.g. 100% Cotton by „Wolle von Drachenstein“, color “Olivenhain” (approx. 465 yards (425 m) / 100g).
• 2 circular knitting needles of size US 4 (3.5mm), length ca. 30‘‘ (80 cm) or
• a long circular knitting needle of size US 4 (3.5mm)
• 5 markers

The pattern consists of written instructions row by row, a chart explaining the pattern (no written description stitch by stitch), and a schematic of the sweater.
