The Loretta Victorian Shell Stitch Shawl/Wrap pattern is very easy to follow, and creates the most beautiful and easy vintage shawl. It’s super beginner friendly, and can be made up quite quickly. The triangle shape, as well as the delicate and intricate design are inspired by Victorian Era shawls.
It is crocheted with 2 skeins of Wool and The Gang Glitterball Sock yarn in shade Disco Ball Grey. This is a fingering/sock yarn, which is very fine, however this yarn can be substituted with your preferred fingering yarn, or even any size/weight yarn of your preference (If you substitute for another size yarn please make sure to switch up your hook as indicated on your yarn packaging). As you can see, this shawl is very versatile!
I also used a 4 mm crochet hook for this project, as well as a tapestry needle and pair of scissors.
This pattern is written in US terms, with British terms in brackets.
This is a great project for beginners, and features the beautiful shell stitch.
Pattern will be available for instant download upon payment.
