Lórien is an elvish word in Tolkien’s „The Lord Of The Rings“ and it’s meaning is „Dream Land“ or just „dream“.
It is namesake for this gorgeous nice shawl which is worked top-down in a crescent shape.
You need approx. 200 gr yarn in the main colour which should not be heavier than 6-ply and approx. 50 – 100 gr of yarn in a contrasting colour which should have the same yarn weight.
You also need a circular knitting needle in a size suitable for the chosen yarn.
The size of the finished shawl is approx. 180 – 200 x 35 – 55 cm.

The pattern contains 5 pages, it includes a written version, charts and links to video-tutorials. There are no complicated stitches needed but knitting basics are assumed.
