Seaglass comes in so many beautiful colors. All kinds of glass and beach pebbles are rolled and tumbled by the waves and carried ashore. Their edges becomes soft and their colors frostened. Each piece of seaglass is unique in color and shape.
And so will be your ‘Lost Seaglass’ cowl. Each version and color combo will be unique and equally stunning. This is a quick and fun knit for yourself or a perfect gift for someone else!
Despite its look, the tube shaped cowl is beginner friendly to knit with only one color per round!
YARN
Gigglinggecko yarns Chunky (100% superwash merino, 100 gr-110yds/100m).
Sample yardage, 185yds/169m in colors:
CC1: Lost seaglass, 105yds/96m.
CC2: Natural 80yds/73m.
Or any chunky weight yarn: approx. 180-220yds/165-200m.
MATERIALS
24” (minimum 60 cm) circular needles.
US 8 (5.0 mm)
US 10.5 (6.5 mm)
Crochet hook, 5.0 mm.
Stitch marker, tapestry needle.
GAUGE - BLOCKED 4” (10 cm).
In color pattern, 14 stitches x 21 rows.
A different gauge will affect final size and yardage.
FINISHED DIMENSIONS
Approx. 22” (56 cm) circumference x 13.5“ (34 cm) height.
ADJUSTMENTS
The width and height of the cowl can easily be adjusted. Adjustments are provided in the pattern.
