Lost Time Wrap
This wrap is a celebration of the four seasons, Rachel Carleton’s one-year anniversary of Zeezee Textiles, and our collective fortitude after over a year of a global pandemic. This project symbolizes the time warp we have found ourselves in -- the time we seem to have lost in 2020 and the speed and muddled seasons that have emerged in 2021 as our communities have begun to open and we find ourselves both trying to make up for lost time and uncertain of what the future holds. Within this asymmetrical wrap, the seasons (colorways) go forwards and back, perhaps time even seems to slow, but the lace arrows and the arrow shape of the wrap still point us forward. Forward towards survival, progress and new beginnings.
The Lost Time Wrap is a large, asymmetrical arrow shaped that is knit from the “V” end to the arrow’s point. It alternates between garter stitch sections and lace sections with an arrow motif.
This pattern has been tech edited and test knit.
Sizing and Measurements
This pattern is available in one size measuring approximately 94” in length from the “V” end to the point of the arrow. The two edges of the arrow are approximately 16” and 24” respectively.
If you are interested in making a smaller version of this wrap, you could remove 2 rows from each color of the garter sections (8 fewer rows x 4 garter sections) and remove one of the four lace repeats in each of the 4 lace sections (the equivalent length of removing one full lace section). This would result in a wrap approximately 75 percent of the original size.
