German crochet abbr.:
LM = CH
FM = SC
HST = HDC
STB = DC
DST = TC
one square has 2 rounds of colour, 3. rd. in off-white. I used lots of different shades of white and lots of coloured scraps for this. make 2 pieces 5 x 6 squares for front and back, make 2 pieces of 1 x 4 for sleaves. join with SC on the back, crochet over ends to secure.
leave out neck 1/2 square, 1 square, 1/2 square big enough to get your head through. make a border of 1 round of reverse single crochet around neck and sleaves, for bottom use shellstitches.
