Lots of dots socks
The dots on these super cheerful and summery ‘Lots of dots’ socks are knitted using the mosaic technique, which works based on slipped stitches. You knit with one color while alternately slipping and knitting stitches of another color. This creates color patterns in your knitting. It’s a very simple method of colorwork knitting and also super fun to do!
In these short socks, the mosaic stitches form cheerful accents on the top of the foot. The two-tone picot edge gives the socks something extra. On the bottom of the sock, the ‘picots’ return in the scalloped lines, which you also knit using slipped stitches. All in all, a cheerful and versatile summer sock that should not be missing from your collection of hand-knitted socks.

This cuff down sock pattern (with shadow wrap short row heel) is suitable for both knitting with DPNs and magic loop. The instructions for these different types of needles are clearly indicated in the text.
