Materials:
- WW4 yarns: RHSS Ombre in Jazzy was used in the creation of this pattern
o 3- 10 oz skeins (approximately 1300 yds) for shawl body
o Additional 100-200 yards needed to add fringe/tassels

  • Size “J” (5.75MM) hook
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
  • Optional: stitch markers

Notes:

  1. This pattern was created with the beginner in mind, however, it is rated as intermediate due to the use of post stitches and creating the fillet style hearts: SC, DC, post stitches used
  2. This pattern is written in US terms for the right-handed crocheter
  3. This pattern contains many photos to help you along the way
  4. This pattern includes a step-by-step photo tutorial on how to create both heart styles
  5. This pattern was created with Red Heart Super Saver Ombre yarns
  6. Gauge using DC and size “J” (5.75 MM) hook: 7 rows = 4”, 13 sts= 4”
  7. Chain 2’s at beginning of rounds count in stitch count
  8. Stitches in brackets are to be repeated total number times stated after brackets
  9. Numbers in parentheses at end of rounds indicate total stitch count for round
  10. Finished product: wash in cold or luke-warm water, tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to dry. If you put tassel fringe on the ends it is highly recommended to air dry this project
  11. Finished measurements: 79” long by 19.5” wide (without adding optional fringe)
