Everyone seems to have a pocket shawl design these days. We think ours is a little bit different! This pattern was made with Lion Brand Pound of Love yarn. You can, of course, use any #4 weight yarn of your choice! To go with our Pound of Love, we used a “hugs and kisses” inspired pattern of cross stitch rows and popcorn rows. It gives texture and interest to this otherwise solid pattern.

My finished shawl is 65” long and 17” wide. The pockets are 6” wide and 7” deep. If you are a tight crocheter, you may need to go up a hook size to achieve the same results as mine.

Gauge: 11 stitches and 7 rows in 4” square (double crochet)

Supplies:

• (1) 16oz skein of Lion Brand Pound of Love
• Alternately you can use 1100 yards of #4 weight yarn
• 5.75mm hook
• 4 stitch markers
