LOTTA is an oversized pullover with an allover diamond lace pattern. LOTTA was designed in collaboration with Mominoki Yarn and for its German Merino.

German Merino is a high quality rustic wool and all of the yarn production processes from breeding to dyeing are done in Germany. It comes in two weights: DK (German Merino) and Sport (German Merino Light).

The sweater knit with German Merino is oversized and thick. Though the fabric looks firm and sturdy, the sweater is deceptively light and very warm. Worked with German Merino Light, the sweater is one-size smaller with a cropped wide body, and is even lighter and more relaxed.

Both yarns get softer after wet blocking and have excellent insulating quality and breathability, which allows you to make handknit garments with a great texture. Bouncy and plumpy, it embosses the diamond lace pattern and is perfect for LOTTA. Choosing the color to use is also fun, thanks to its wide color palette. Choose whichever yarn and color according to your style.

LOTTA はダイヤモンド柄の透かし編みを全体にあしらった、ゆったりプルオーバーです。この度、その LOTTA と Mominoki Yarn German Merino のコラボが実現しました。

German Merino は、羊の飼育から染色まで、すべてドイツでおこなわれている素朴で自然な高品質ウールで、DK ( 並太 ) の German Merino と Sport ( 合太 ) の German Merino Light の2種類があります。

German Merino で編むと、オーバーサイズの肉厚なセーターに仕上がります。しっかりとしたタフな編地ですが、見た目以上に軽くてとても暖かいです。

German Merino Light で編むと、一回りサイズダウンしたワイドでショート丈のスタイルに仕上がり、なおいっそう軽やかでリラックスした着心地です。

どちらも水通し後はふっくら柔らかく変化し、保温性と通気性にもすぐれているので、手編みの風合いが素晴らしいセーターが完成します。また、弾力や膨らみによってダイヤの透かし柄がくっきりと浮かび上がってくるこの糸の魅力は、LOTTA にとってとても理想的。
