Lottie socks are knit in the round, cuff down, using stranded colour work to create a gingham pattern. Because of this, they are a little thicker than your regular sock knitted with fingering weight yarn.

Needles: US2 (2.75 mm) DPNS

Yardage: 175 m (191 yd) MC and 150 m (165 yd) CC

Approx. Gauge: 36 sts and 40 rows for 10 cm x 10 cm (4 in x 4 in)

Sizes 1 (2, 3) are based on the measurement around the ball of the foot and for this pattern are 17 (20.5, 22.25) cm 7 (8, 9) in with 1 cm (.5 in) of negative ease
