I designed this cardigan for a 3-6 months old girl. If the ruffles are not added, it can be transformed into unisex garment and will be suitable for a baby boy too. The measurements are: chest circumference 46 cm, sleeves 25 cm, length 23 cm. The size can be adjusted by adding more stitches and working more rows.

The cardigan is worked top down flat in one piece. The stitches are increased by working raglan method.

I used SweetGeorgia Merino silk lace yarn for this project. The cardigan is delicate, lightweight yet very warm. I like neutral colours but it will look beautiful in baby pastels too ( I think :))

The project is suitable for intermediate knitter who has some skills and knows how to cast on, knit, purl, yarn over, how to make cable, bind off. Beginners who would like to improve their skills can work on this design too. It is not too complicated and every step is clearly explained.
