I already have two designs with the same stitch work, the Lotus Backpack and the Lotus Pouch patterns are very popular!
The stitch I used is the perfect choice for all kinds of bags: it has a tight, dense texture, seamless, very easy to make, and it looks beautiful and elegant!

Finished size: 7.5” wide, 8” long

Designed in medium worsted weight (4) cotton or cotton-blend yarn and
requires 5 mm (H) crochet hook.

You can also make it in child size, using DK weight yarn and 4.25 mm (G) crochet hook.
