I find making gloves to be such a fussy pain I only do it for people I truly love. But if creating something akin to a knitted Faberge Egg makes you happy, these are a worthwhile investment of time and love. The lining of the cuffs is part silk for softness and I made the gloves long enough so
you can tuck them up under your coat sleeves. The lotus flower design in my prototype was pretty muted, you could get a different and fun result using solid, high contrast, colors.
