This is a beginner to intermediate level stranded colourwork toque pattern with a lotus flower outline image designed to be knit in the round using two contrasting colours of DK weight yarn. One option I tested was to select a pink, either variegated or tonal for the main toque and inside of the flower and a defining contrast colour to create the outline and the other way I tried was to choose a pink to be the outline and a light/neutral shade as the main toque colour.
Chart instructions are included.

The pattern includes instructions for an adult medium size toque (approx 21.5” head). Other size options have not been included at this time; however, the pattern can be adjusted to fit different size heads by adjusting the yarn wight or needle size to obtain a different guage or by adding a couple stitches between chart repeats.
