Lotus Love
The Lotus flower has long been associated as a symbol of purity and beauty by Egyptians scholars, Buddhists and Hindus. The flower has also been widely considered as a symbol of rebirth.
In Chinese Buddhist culture it symbolizes cleansing of the soul while turning into an outward beauty thus achieving the true nature of reality according to Buddhist belief.
Lotus Love is a traditional shetland shawl constructed from a simple garter body with a Lotus flower border that transforms the design from a simple triangle into a delicate lace hap.
