This loose knit top is created using BWM 8ply cotton in chestnut shade.
It is worked bottom up and in the round, beginning with a lovely flowing lace pattern, and then runs into stocking stitch, with some shaping, for the rest of the length of the body. Sleeves also have a border of the same lace as the body, just somewhat less. The body and sleeves can be adapted to the length you choose, but if longer, be aware that it will use more yarn.

The pattern offers basic instructions to size the top up or down according to lace repeats. Photographed on a model with 110cm bust.
The top is named Lotus Pond as the lace reminds me of lotus buds before they open, and the wavy lines are like flowing water.
The top pictured has been gently washed and laid flat to dry. If you want to spread the lace and achieve a wider top, you can block it according to how you like it.
