A lotus shaped rug, and a little reminder of the flowers that spring will soon bring.

I’ve crocheted quite a few pretty rugs, but there didn’t seem to be any knitted circular ones. So, I decided to design one, as knitting is a bit easier on the wrists. : ) Hope you enjoy it!

This Little Rug knits up quick! It’s fun to make and pretty to look at.

I began with four Size 15 double points and switched to 29inch size 15 circulars when it was big enough.

Super bulky Cotton T-Shirt yarn works great! You could also use several strands of worsted weight yarn held together.

It is an larger expansion of my smaller lotus trivet pattern.
