Is one size per item. Is important to get all stitches counts in placemat and coaster for make the border. If they are off, you will need to work out the middle sections of the borders top/bottom.

Make sure you meet gauge if you want same size. If you would like bigger or small items then use different yarn and hook sizes.

Better results with a cotton or cotton/blend yarn. Cotton is resistant to heat either acrylic it melts but if you want a piece for decor only then will be alright

You can use 1 or more colours if you like. Change colours at border.
