Hello from Lou the Box Monster! This pattern was inspired by my husband, who asked me to knit him a “Box Monster” for his desk at work. I thought about the easiest way to knit a cube and came up with this guy. The garter limbs are made to look like corrugated cardboard, to add to the “boxy” details. I’ve included a photo tutorial in the pattern for a new method I came up with to attach and seam the edge of the monster, and I am available for anyone who has any questions! So have fun with it- knit tiny box monster or large box monsters, box monsters with no arms or four arms, of maybe just some stacking monster cubes. Go wild!
