Loose-fitting but gently tailored, top-down, seamless raglan tunic. It features closed-ring cable motifs, side slits and slit sleeves.

Length for sizes M - XL: approx. 70 - 76 cm
Underarm sleeve length (from armhole): approx. 45 cm

The pattern includes two versions. In Version 1, the front is very slightly short-row shaped to improve fit around the bust. If this is not required / desired, there is the easier Version 2, in which back and front are identical (apart from the neck shaping).

Most of the knitting is done in the round, a few small sections are done flat. A little experience with cable-knitting is helpful. Also you need to be able to read charts.

You can make this pattern in any DK yarn with good stitch definition. I recommend wool, for instance Karisma Superwash by Garnstudio (shown here in Blue Turquoise). At 100 metres / 50 g you will need 14 / 15 / 16 balls for sizes M / L / XL.

Pictures are of Version 1 (shaped bust) in size L.

The pattern itself covers only sizes M / L / XL, however, I’m much indebted to krystal911 for successfully producing a size S by simply working size M in a lighter weight yarn. See details on her project page here.
