Louise Cardigan
Louise Cardigan is a classic raglan cardigan given a bit of edge by being knit in Mohair Bouclé.
The thousands of tiny curls from the bouclé yarn are nicely framed by a contrasting front edge in Organic Merino 166.
The cardigan is knit top-down with long sleeves and a V-neckline.
First, the neck’s front edge is knit, where stitches are picked up for the yoke. Then, the raglan increases and V-neck increases begin, while the front edge is knitted along the fronts.
Once the yoke is complete, the work is divided into body and sleeves, which are then knitted separately. Both the body and sleeves are finished with a ribbed edge.
Louise Cardigan is knitted in stockinette stitch. The front edges are knitted continuously with the project, using a different yarn quality and the intarsia technique.
