Lounging Llama
I used a really simple technique that makes working with fur yarn super easy. The llama is constructed with regular yarn first, then the fur yarn is worked over the existing stitches, making it easy to see each stitch as you’re working into it. You get all the fluffiness with none of the headache!
(If you’re like me and have several skeins of fur yarn at the bottom of your stash, because it’s irresistible to buy but impossible to work with, this is the perfect project to use it up!)
Advanced Beginner Level, US terminology.
The finished llama measures 13” tall.
The pattern is 11 pages long and includes several pictures.
I also include an addendum explaining how to make a smaller version of the llama as well, approx. 11” tall.
