I originally designed this reversible scarf for my daughter’s birthday. The lightly padded heart and cloud ends feel good in the hands and add some extra fun to the scarf. And the best part was, I knit the pieces right in front of her without her catching on. Then one night magically transformed my bag of ‘snakes’ into a happy little scarf to brighten any winter day. The rainbow itself can be knit and assembled in a variety of ways and I have included instructions and examples of a few different ideas to choose from, including info on making an adult sized scarf. Materials:
4mm / 6 US Double Pointed needles or circular needles depending on choice of design
DK Yarn –
Child - Approx. 75g for the scarf and about 5g each for the cloud and heart ends.
Adult - Approx. 110g for the scarf and about 5g each for the cloud and heart ends.
Embroidery Needle
Stuffing / fiberfill (optional)

Gauge: 6 stitches per inch.
