Love Blooms Throw is so pretty, with its pops of coloured flowers, unique textured leaves, lovely braided lace joins and custom lace edging, it is interesting to make and gorgeous when finished.

The beauty of Love Blooms is that it can be crocheted in a variety of yarn weights. A double knit or worsted (used in the examples) will make a delightfully warm throw or blanket, for a light Spring throw try a lace or sport weight, or use a baby yarn and create a precious gift.

There are no complicated stitches, and all the stitches and placement are explained clearly in the pattern notes, in writing and diagrams. So this pattern is perfect for the average crocheter.

I have designed the flower square to be worked as one continuous piece, including the joins, with the change of colour ends woven in as you proceed (so, if you were to work the square in only one colour, there would not be any joins throughout).

The pattern comes in a US and UK version, with measurements and yardages for 3 different sizes, and also for individual squares in DK and worsted - to make it easier if you want to design your own size and layout. There are written and charted instructions, as well as many photos. I have also listed yardages on my projects pages.
