• Worsted weight Yarn
• I used Lion Brand, Vanna’s Choice, or Loops and Threads, Impeccable for the heart bands pictured throughout this pattern. In the main photo, the woman is wearing Impeccable in Rich Orchid, and the little girl is wearing Vanna’s Choice in Dusty Purple. The wide necked adult cowl pictured on the mannequin is done in Impeccable, Soft Rose
• For the top/neck area I used Caron, Simply Soft in Off White
• 6mm hook
• 5mm hook
• Darning needle
• Stitch marker
• Row counter (the top portion can be a little difficult to count the rows if you are not familiar with the stitch pattern)

- For the band of hearts

GAUGE & SIZING

Gauge is important to ensure proper fit.

• 7 clusters over 4” (this is the sc, dc clusters that form the turtle neck area)
• 13 sc over 4” (in the heart area)
• Each heart pattern repeat should measure about 3.5” across
• To figure out the proper size, measure around the widest point of your shoulders, work in the corresponding size indicated.
