“Love For Love”

This one is for Robert Burns!

His work is inspirational to so many and I am delighted to have tied this cowl to the poem of the same name written in 1792.

This is a simple cowl finished in a manner that allows it to be worn in a variety of ways, using chunky weight yarn.

Its created with a textured stitch that allows the finished fabric to have some bounce to it and does not need to be blocked into shape.

It’s a pattern that’s suitable for an intermediate beginner and above or a beginner wanting to spread their wings into something new.

To keep with the Scottish theme, I have used eco hand dyed by Loch Ness Knitting which s always has produced a piece that is snuggly and comfortable to wear against the skin and a joy to work with.

There is no gauge for this piece as you knitting to the end of the skeins.
