Sorry about the largeness of this project. It is my very first design and I did not realize how large it was going to get. I would love to see someone do it with a smaller hook and/or a thinner yarn. If you do please post sizw, yardage, and pictures.

Done in Bernat Super Value with an H hook it only took onefof my crocheters 3 & 1/2 skeins to complete this. This included working a round of half double crochet all around and a shell border.

MommaElspeth used a 3.5 mm (E) hook, and a 4 ply fingering weight yarn. Her shawl took approximately 775 yds, and the result was about 4 ft across the top by 2.5 ft down.
