Love Heart Cardigan and the Child’s Love Heart Cardigan are a duo that any mother-daughter, grandmother-grandchild, aunt-niece or other combination will cherish as a timeless piece to be worn for any occasion. Of course just the adults pattern can be made to top off that perfect outfit.

Both patterns are a seamless raglan sleeve cardigan worked flat from the neck down until the yoke of hearts is completed. The sleeves incorporate the ‘knot stitch’ and are put on hold while the body is finished. Then, the sleeves are taken back up and knit in the round until completed. Stitches are then picked up around the neck to complete the ribbed band. Then stitches are picked up along the front edges to make the ribbed button bands.

Full instructions are provided for making the button holes and for making sure the holes are spaced evenly along the band. No guesswork!

The lace hearts may be worked from a chart or from written instructions and a schematic and abbreviation section is included for your reference.

All proceeds earned from the sale of patterns in my shop on the seventh day Sabbath will be donated to spreading the gospel of Jesus.

When determining which sales are to be donated I consider the buyers time zone as well as mine. Sabbath begins at sunset Friday and ends sunset Saturday. May the Lord bless your purchase and your knitting. :)
