The pattern includes male and female characters hand in hand around the ankle. It has also hearts in the calf and foot. This is a male version of the Love in the Socks for Her (instructions available also).

The socks fit medium to large calf/ankle, and the foot can be knitted as long as needed. Perfect also for women, especially if you have a wider calf/foot, or want socks that are comfort fit. The rib in the ankles make the socks sit better.

You need 1-2 balls of the main color and 1 ball of the accent color, 5 double pointed needles size 3.5-4 mm (US 4-6) depending on how tightly you knit. I use 3.75 mm (US 5) for 7 brothers, which is an Aran weight yarn.

You need a tapestry needle for finishing work.
