Inspired by childhood nostalgia for central Ontario and the name of one of the colourways used in this pattern, the cowl and its accompanying fingerless gloves feature a stand of trees and purl ridges reminiscent of clouds, pays homage to a place I love and pine for dearly.

This knit cowl & fingerless gloves set are knit entirely in the round, using colorwork charts to work each piece seamlessly from top to bottom and using duplicate stitch to create the trees after the piece is complete.

Materials:
6 colours of fingering weight yarn, approx. 37 yds each of A (for the tree), B, C, D, E (for the sky), and 125 yds of CC (for the ribbing)
