This pattern is 15 pages (including a cover page), with step by step instructions and photos so you can make your very own Love is Love Banner.

This is filet crochet, but don’t worry if you’ve never done filet crochet before. My pattern includes both the chart and written instructions. (An example of written instructions is one of the photos.)
I’ve also included an explanation of how to read the filet chart if you want to try your hand at that for the first time too.

Also included are instructions on making either the tabs for the dowel or a full sleeve for the dowel.

My banner turned out to be about 28 inches long and 11.5 inches wide using the supplies below.

Supplies:
4.5 mm hook
You could use 4mm or 5mm if you want.
I like the drape that the 4.5mm hook gave me.
Scissors
Yarn Needle for sewing in ends
Wooden dowel – 15” x 5/16”
Strand of twine, ribbon, or cotton yarn for hanging

Worsted weight yarn (or number 4 yarn) in
Red, Orange Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple.

I used I Love this Cotton in the following colors:
Red
Glowing
Curry
Bright Green
Royalty
Amethyst

Terms (American):
Ch – Chain
DC – Double Crochet
Sk – Skip (This could mean skipping DC stitches from the previous row or skipping chains from the previous row)
