You can change the width of this to suit different sizes, I have given notes in he pattern of how to do this.
The lace is a 17 stitch repeat and continues round the entire cowl so you must cast on a multiple of 17. This cowl matches the Love Lace Gloves.

4 ply yarn is needed for this.
I used West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply.

This pattern needs to be blocked to show the lace off. There are notes in the pattern as to how to do this.

Techniques
Norwegian cast on- or your favourite cast on.
Make one right
Make 1 left
Picking up stitches
Knit two together
Slip, slip knit,
Knit through the back loop,
Slip slip knit through the back loop (there are extensive notes on how to do this in the pattern)
Cast off
