overthinkers. i am one. and i often need to be reminded of the above. deep breaths. intentionally being still(ish). everything about this project pulls me towards calm.

the YarnAndSoul alpaca superfine is so soft. even knitting with it made me feel cozy.

the colorowork mimics the proportions of trees in the late fall, reflected in the still water of a local pond. the combo of water, sky and bare trees is something i have always found can calm my thoughts. that and the fresh air.

the pattern itself is rhythmic, but not dull. familliar enough to allow you to get into the flow of the knitting, but with a twist to the decreases that keeps things fresh.

so, from one overthinker to another, may this bring you peace.
