While awaiting the first signs of spring, she remembers the beautiful tulips he planted for her over a decade ago. This lovely scarf is the companion pattern to Love Potion No. 8.

Your choice of three colors will determine how feminine or masculine the shawl will be.

Size: 60” / 152.5cm long; 5” / 12.5cm wide, or desired length

Materials:
Yarn:
Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light (100% Merino, 3.5oz/100g, 420yds/384m per skein), or any fingering weight yarn.
Crazy Zauberball, 100g, 420 m or 459 yards.
Total yardage: 420 yards

Approximate yardage used in sample:
MC Clematis -100yds,
CC1 Celedon -190yds,
CC2 Crazy Zauberball color 2170-130yds
Substituting yarn will change the yardage requirements.

Needles:
US 5 (3.75mm) circular, one 32” (80cm) or longer and US 5 (3.75mm) DPNs. Adjust needle size as needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge:
26 sts and 36 rows = 4” (10cm) in garter stitch

Supplies:
4 Stitch markers, yarn needle, blocking wires (optional), rustproof pins for blocking
