One of my favorite winter activities is a trip to Elmhurst outdoors for a maple sugar bush tour, pancake breakfast, and cross country skiing. This design was inspired by their beautiful sugar shack.

Size:
One size fits most women’s S/M sized hands. Size can be changed by adjusting gauge.

Gauge:
32 stitches x 38 rows = 4”

Materials:
• Yarn: Briggs and little sport: Teal Blue 34g/129 yds and Briggs and little lite n’ fancy softspun: Cream 32 g/135 yds.
• Needles: US 1 - 2.25mm for the cuff and US 1½ - 2.5mm for the rest of the mitten. I use 9” circular needles; however magic loop or DPN’s would work equally as well.
• A bit of scrap yarn
• Tapestry needle
